Rhode Island home inspection checklist
Rhode Island regulates home inspectors, and its own Standards of Practice are the legal floor for inspections performed there. A checklist structured from the Rhode Island standard is not yet available on this site.
This site adds a state only after its Standard of Practice has
been verified at the official source — one state at a time, with the reference
and verification date on every section. Until the Rhode Island checklist is
published, refer to the standard itself through your state licensing board.
In a licensed state, the state SOP takes precedence over association standards: the generic InterNACHI and ASHI checklists on this site are intended for states without licensing and are deliberately not offered as a substitute here.
Currently available state checklists: Texas (22 TAC §§535.227–535.233) and Florida (FAC 61-30).
